What unites all people, is a necessity for existence, and connects us with the Earth? FOOD! We need to celebrate this incredibly integral fuel of life.
That’s why Monday, October 24th is the first annual Food Day. All over the nation people are coming together to create community and push for healthy, affordable food produced in a sustainable, humane way.
Join us for a day on the HSU quad with Food For People and CalFresh to learn of some of the amazing resources our community has for food security and justice.
Then come watch a beautiful documentary about how the food movement of this generation is taking root: Ingredients.
Yummy snacks and revolutionary chit chat will be served. Hope to see you there!
